She started her career as an esthetician and esthetics instructor, and worked in bridal hair and makeup. After getting married, she transitioned to a designer role.

She focuses not only on the outer appearance of the person wearing the dress but also on their inner self and the vision they want to achieve.

Through her dresses, she conveys elements of beauty, such as posture, walking style, and overall presence. Drawing from her experience in caregiving, she incorporates universal design principles. She has launched her own brand, XIUXI.a

Due to the COVI-19, she left her job as a flight attendant with 38 years of career. At the same time, she started caring for her 91-year-old mother at home.

“Inspire the global aging society at the Platinum Collection!”

In the era of a 100-year life, we originate independent generations of Platinum Seniors to live true to themselves, originating from the historic city of Kyoto.

My mother also participated as a model in the 1st Kyoto Platinum Collection held in 2019. I believe that her radiance and strength have brought courage and hope to many. The lesson learned through caring for my mother is that ‘caregiving is not just filial piety, but the final parenting a parent does.’ 

What preparations and attitudes are needed now to enrich ourselves for the later stages? I wish to share the answers to these questions through this event.

In the ‘100-Year Life Era,’ how we design our own lives and make them richer is a crucial consideration. I hope you can feel the hints along with the charm of the Platinum generation.
